More scenes of Santiago
Our trip to Pomaire was unexpectedly redirected to a walking tour in Santiago in the historic district of Santa Lucia, followed by unplanned shopping.
No travels today, just workshops, but here are some more of the photos from yesterday.

First, the aptly named Patagonia Cafe in Santa Lucia, a foreshadowing of things to come. We didn’t dine here but walked through the district after our ill-fated attempt to visit Pomaire.

I'm still not sure why, but instead of visiting the village in the Andes known for its clay pottery, we ended up on a walking tour of Santa Lucia, which was pleasant, followed by two stops for shopping - which wasn't why we were here.

The Andes are the backdrop to everything in the city, from Burger King to car dealers.
